About Me

I am a recent graduate of Lesley University; receiving my MFA in Creative Writing with a focus in Writing for Stage & Screen, and an IDS in Nonfiction.  And also graduate of Michigan State University; receiving my B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I love music, writing, film and theatre, and plan on pursuing that realm of entertainment in the near future.

I am also a member of Broadcast Music Incorporated, the Association of Writers & Writing Programs, the Dramatists Guild of America, The Playwright's Center, and an initiated member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity.

Part of this blog is to give you an insight as to what goes on inside the mind of Kacee/Klayster. I will use this avenue to focus on my upcoming projects, but from a more storytelling aspect. This blog will showcase my path towards becoming more adaptive in the film/theatre/music world, and what steps were needed in order to make that happen. My hope is that whomever views this site will begin to understand the journey one might take, post-graduation (high school/undergrad/graduate), in order to get their foot in the door of their dreams.

The other part of this blog is to shine light on the other side of being an entertainer -- the person beyond the stage. I will post poems, shorts stories, pictures -- whatever gives you an idea as to who I am, and what helped form me into that person.
